Liked staff and rooms. Walking distance to boutiques and a market across the street. I visited Restaurante do Forte, based easy walk to the hotel, had dinner there.

Planned to see Funchal major attractions and it was good choice for visiting all of them. Location close to The Old Town, the center, the shops. Also, the hotel had quick access to an open market.

Gorgeous breakfast, very cheerful staff and location is strategic. Brilliant view of park. Loved quick check-in and efficient check-out. Family restaurant is awesome.

Outstanding value, I had an incredible stay. Reception was good. The staff were eager to help with any little detail. Besides, the hotel was 2 km away from a large sloping park.

Comfortable hotel, fairly clean and 20 km from the airport. Really polite staff, who gave us awesome suggestions. The bed was relaxing and it was great having climate control, balcony and coffee. Plenty of options for breakfast, spicy slices of fresh bread, cheese, milk, jam and pastries. The service was top-notch here.

Location was incredible, room was unique, breakfast was awesome. Tidy and affordable hotel in Santa Maria district. Perfect view, a good balcony, neat bed, too. Smooth check-in, fast check-out.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

the staff were helpful and the fresh breakfast was provided. the hotel was close to madeira story centre and you can walk to quinta do boa vista. we liked having kitchen.
